MVL’s TADA Mini Opens a New Era for Web3 Mobility at Token2049

Mobility blockchain company MVL (CEO Kay Woo) announced the successful launch of its Web3-based ride-hailing service, TADA Mini, at the Token2049 event held on September 18-19 in Singapore. Integrated with Telegram and TON blockchain, TADA Mini gained great popularity among more than 20,000 Web3 users in attendance, offering a seamless ride-hailing and blockchain payment experience.

TADA Mini is the first Web3 ride-hailing service that combines the extensive 300,000 driver pool of TADA, a subsidiary ride-hailing service of MVL, with MVL’s accumulated mobility blockchain technology, and the convenient infrastructure of Telegram with its 1 billion users. With the aim of creating a user-friendly experience that could lead the mass adoption of Web3, MVL and the TON Foundation have been working closely to ensure that anyone can effortlessly book a TADA ride through the TADA Mini bot in Telegram.

During the Token2049 event week, MVL unveiled an early version of TADA Mini to event attendees, resulting in an estimated total of over 15,000 passengers—around 75% of the 20,000 attendees—experiencing Web3 ride-hailing firsthand. This showcases the broad reach and accessibility of TADA Mini among global Web3 users. In particular, for international attendees, TADA Mini offered great satisfaction by simplifying what would otherwise have been a complicated process, eliminating the need for country-specific app downloads, card registrations, and phone verifications. Users were able to start trips instantly simply by connecting their Web3 wallets to Telegram.

As word spread among users, the free rides offered as a one-time promotion per user quickly ran out, and TON Coin and USDT were actively used for paid rides. One enthusiastic user even used TON Coin to book 32 rides over the course of the event week, demonstrating a high rate of repeat usage among Web3 users.

Along with the successful execution of the event, TADA Mini’s launch quickly spread online, helping secure a global audience of over 3 million potential users. Despite currently being limited to the Singapore region, the overwhelming support indicates a strong demand for Web3 mobility across different regions.

During the event period, TADA Mini also utilized its ride-hailing features to run diverse advertisements and partnerships, catching the eyes of many. Collaborations were not limited to simple banner ads but also included connecting riders to mini-games through a partnership with Blum, which has a user base of around 70 million. Additionally, TADA Mini partnered as a trip provider for about 10 major side events, including The Open Art exhibition at the National Gallery Singapore, offering innovative features like one-click destinations for attendees. Furthermore, crypto exchange Bitget hosted a special airdrop event for TADA Mini users, making TADA Mini one of the most talked-about topics at Token2049.

Moving forward, MVL plans to further enhance the utility of MVL tokens through TADA Mini. Not only can users use MVL tokens to book rides, but as more projects express interest in connecting their own tokens and wallets to TADA Mini, new utilities are expected to be introduced. For instance, companies will need to purchase and hold MVL tokens to enable their token payments in TADA Mini. Moreover, transaction fees from payments made in other tokens will be used for buybacks, ensuring that MVL tokens are continuously used and their value is reinforced over time.

Kay Woo, CEO of MVL, expressed his excitement: “We are thrilled to have successfully introduced TADA Mini to the global Web3 audience at the largest Web3 event, Token2049.” He added, “Going forward, we plan to expand TADA Mini’s services to four more countries, including Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, and continue collaborations with various Web3 projects.”

After its successful debut at Token2049, TADA Mini will undergo a one-month period of enhancements, including feature improvements, expansion to new countries, and increased utility of MVL tokens. MVL is committed to presenting innovative mobility services by leveraging the strengths of blockchain technology through platforms like TADA Mini.
